 Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

Requirements for admission into the MBSR program: 
  1. Completion of a free Intro class (either in person or online) shortly before the start of the program.
  2. Completion of a health information form provided by the teacher.
  3. A short one on one session with the teacher during the Intro class or by appointment.
  4. Commitment to attend all the 8 weekly sessions, and the all-day retreat. 
  5. Commitment of home practice time of 45 to 60 minutes a day, 5 days a week, in addition to in-class practice. Recorded guides and other information needed for home practice will be provided.
  6. ​For in person classes, full vaccination, masking, and social distance is required to minimize pandemic risks.
  7. Payment of class fees of $500 (or discounted price if applicable) due after all other requirements are met and before the closing date.​
What if I miss a class?
If you miss one class for some unforeseen reason but are doing the assigned home practices and following the emails, it is possible to make up. If you are going to miss more than 2 classes, you may not get enough out of the course.

All times are in Central time (USA).

Closing Date for Registration and Cancellation with Refund: March 23rd, 2022

In Person MBSR:  (Minimum 4 and Maximum 6-8, depending on pandemic risk factors. Vaccination, masking, and social distance required)
8 classes 2.5 hr each, on Saturdays, 2:15 PM - 4:45 PM, March 26th , April 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th; May 7th and 14th 
Silent All-Day Retreat: Sunday May 1st, 2022, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Venue: At Studio 103, 3435 Greystone Drive, Ste. 103, Austin, Texas 78731, a new, spacious, studio in Northwest Austin.  
Class size: minimum 4, maximum 8 
Bring your own yoga mat, cushion, or other props you need to sit on the floor. Folding chairs available for those who cannot sit on the floor.

Online Live MBSR: (Minimum 4 and Maximum 12 participants)
8 weekly classes on every Friday, 3:00 PM - 5:30 PM, March 25th , April 1st, 8th, 15th, 22rd, and 30th; May 6th and 13th
Silent All-Day Retreat: Sunday May 1st, 2022, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

You need a high speed Internet connection, a laptop or desktop with speaker, microphone, and camera. Phones and tablets substantially reduce the experience and therefore not recommended. It is important to keep video on during all the live online classes so that it feels like an in-person class.

Please register in a free Intro class. After meeting the teacher and attending a free Intro, if you decide to make the 8-week commitment, you may pay by check or online below.
